Nashvillians know there’s no shortage of fun things to do in this ever-growing city. There are romantic restaurants, trendy bars, and great bands on every corner. Valentine’s Day is no ordinary day, however, and fortunately, Nashville also boasts some extraordinary Valentine’s Day possibilities. If you’re not a “candlelit dinner” kind of couple, or if you’re just looking for something a little bit more exciting, we have a few ideas (and a GIVEAWAY!) just for you!

Love Circle

If you haven’t ventured to Love Circle with your sweetheart yet, Valentine’s Day is the perfect opportunity. Bundle up, grab some blankets, make a thermos of hot chocolate, and you’re all set for a romantic and truly memorable date at Music City’s version of “lover’s lane.” Love Circle is located between Natchez Trace and West End, and from the top of the hill you have a seriously gorgeous view of the city. The park is open between 6AM and 9PM, so you could even go for an early morning coffee date! So how do you get to Love Circle? From downtown, head away from the city center on West End, take a left on Orleans, right on Acklen, and left on Love Circle.

Music City Indoor Karting

Do you and your love have a need for speed? Spend your Valentine’s Day racing go-karts! The track is indoors, so you won’t have to worry about the weather cooperating. Once you’ve gotten your adrenaline fix on the track, you can play some blacklight mini-golf or ride the mechanical bull.

Sudekum Planetarium

If you’re trying to plan a date that’s truly out of this world, look no further than the Sudekum Planetarium. This place has a 63-foot dome theater and they offer “after hours” laser shows set to music (like Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd). Grab two tickets for Valentine’s Day to give your lovebird the most exciting theater experience they’ve ever had.

Climb Nashville

If you’re a couple of adrenaline junkies, purchase a day pass at Climb Nashville for about $20! You’ll be able to celebrate the holiday by being active and testing your limits on their various climbing walls. If you’re newbies to climbing, learn together! (After all, the couple that learns together, stays together.) Climb Nashville offers belay lessons and gear rentals to get you ready for the walls. There are two convenient locations: one in West Nashville and one in East Nashville. Both are close to great and affordable neighborhood restaurants and bars too.

Sips n Strokes

Grab your favorite beverage (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) and head to one of the two Nashville Sips n Strokes locations. Prices range from $25-$35 per person. There, you and your date will get to drink while learning how to paint with professional instructors. If your painting turns out beautifully, give it to your date as a Valentine’s Day gift! If not, you’ll certainly have something to laugh about together.

Ready to start planning a truly memorable date? We hope this post has given you some inspiration for an adventurous Valentine’s Day! And remember, you don’t have to celebrate on Valentine’s Day. Feel free to celebrate the weekend before or the weekend after, depending on your work schedule and the adventure of your choice.
