Our Happiest Birthday Yet: Looking Back on 25 Years [INFOGRAPHIC]

The year was 1991.

Thelma & Louise was a smash hit at the box office. M.C. Hammer was “too legit to quit.” And Direct Auto Insurance opened its doors for the first time.

We’ve crunched the numbers, double checked the math, and on April 11, 2016, we’ll be celebrating our 25th birthday at Direct. Time sure does fly when you’re on a mission like ours: to provide the low rates and great services people deserve from their auto insurance company.

Looking back on the last 25 years, it’s clear we’ve come pretty far. Along the way we expanded into 14 states across the Southeast, added new products and convenient services, and picked up our favorite former racecar driver: JJ Hightail.

But serving our loyal customers for a quarter-century? That’s what really takes the cake!
