The active members and veterans of our Armed Forces are heroes who deserve special recognition every day. So, sit back, relax, and get ready to learn about a few new ways to save money.

Automotive Deals & Discounts

At Direct Auto Insurance, we’re always looking for ways to help your car run longer and ways to save you money. Why not combine both principles by taking advantage of military discounts at these automotive-industry businesses?

Advance Auto Parts
Car in need of a wash and wax? Do you need a new steering wheel cover? If so, Advance Auto Parts is the perfect place to look because they offer 10% off regularly priced items for in-store purchases. The discount is available to active-duty, reserve, and retired members of the military, as well as their immediate family members.

Jiffy Lube
If you’re in need of an oil change, many Jiffy Lube locations offer 15% off to members of our Armed Forces. Some items and services, like batteries and diagnostics, are excluded so be sure to check the fine print before you make an appointment.

Various Rental Companies
Jack Taylor, the founder of Enterprise, actually named the company after the aircraft carrier he served on during WWII. To this day, Enterprise considers it an “honor to go the extra mile for the people who go above and beyond for our country.” To say thanks, Enterprise provides discounts and special rates to people reserving vehicles for Government Leisure Travel and Official Government Travel. AlamoAvisHertz, and several other rental companies also offer military discounts.

Various Auto Dealerships
If you’re in the market for a new vehicle, there’s a good chance that military service could lead to serious savings. Different companies, like General Motors, offer military discounts as a way to show their appreciation. Also, Toyota has a history of offering military rebates. And that’s just two automobile manufacturers, so the next time you’re shopping for a car, make sure to run a search or ask about any possible savings.
